We are preparing an outline planning application for around 140 new homes on land south of Stone Road in Eccleshall. The proposals have been shaped by key site considerations and aim to establish the principles for a high-quality residential development that fits well with the character of Eccleshall and its surroundings.

The scheme will provide a mix of 1 to 4-bedroom homes, including 40% affordable housing, to meet a broad range of local needs. The indicative layout allows for new green spaces, enhanced walking and cycling routes, and a landscape-led approach that supports biodiversity and a strong sense of place.

While detailed design matters will be confirmed at a later stage, the development will draw inspiration from local materials and traditional architectural forms. Sustainability will be a core theme, with future homes expected to incorporate measures such as air source heat pumps and solar panels to reduce carbon emissions and promote energy efficiency.
